We just completed a 12 x 15 foot skull for the Adobe Max conference in LA. The skull is carved of EPS foam with a hard coat. It is split into 8 individual components for assembly and storage. The skull was designed as a projection lighting prop. The skull was designed in sections to make it easy to transport and assemble. The sections are assembled using light weight bolt together cross members. The surfaces had to be carved and match perfectly to the dimensions of a much smaller foot model from which the projection lighting was programmed. The carving came together accurately allowing the the skull to be assembled and projection lit within hours. The entire skull was a very rushed job and was completed in just two weeks.
