Float Building Foam Sculptures and Characters

We have been building a number of sculptures, characters, and architectural form elements for the Days of 47 Parade in Salt Lake City, July 24, 2014.  The Days of 47 Parade celebrates the arrival of the Mormon Pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley.  Most of the floats for the Days of 47 are designed and constructed by volunteers from various Stakes around Utah.

We have designed and fabricated oxen, an Angel Moroni Statue, a Horse and Rider, architectural designs, and large and small lettering in a variety of fonts for various floats.  We can create a full 3D version of your float sculpture or character so that you can see if from all sides before we make it.  We will CNC router it to exact specifications and dimensions to fit perfectly on your float.

We use a variety of foam densities so that you can achieve the best product for your float.  Contact us today for your 3D float object, form, sculpture, character, architectural molding or lettering.  We can also provide you with foam and other float building supplies.  We can make your idea or object ANY SIZE!

I think it’s interesting to see that you can have a float constructed out of foam. It makes sense that they would want to use foam, especially since it doesn’t weigh much. It looks like you can model it pretty precisely, too!
